Therapeutic Presence at a Distance

April 1, 2020, 7:00 - 8:00 PM

Presented by Dr. Robin Beardsley and Dr. Elizabeth Parsons

1 hour session by Zoom

An interactive session for those who are not yet comfortable using video and phone as a means of providing psychotherapeutic care. We will share some tips and tricks to help deal with the limitations of connecting this way as well as practical ways to attend to our patients’ distress when we are at a distance. We think you will find that it is possible to be present for your patients in a deep and meaningful way, even when not in the same room.
