Our recent times have been a challenge for all.  The need to build resilience is important for both ourselves and our patients.  Nestled in the forests of the Hockley Valley we will spend time together learning and experiencing a variety of self-care modalities guided by our very own members:  Improv, Expressive arts, Breathwork, EFT, Tibetan Buddhist Meditation, Poetry and Sound, and Narrative Medicine. 

The retreat centre will be for our exclusive use this weekend to better facilitate our collegial experience as well as to absorb the natural surroundings.  Provincial health guidelines pertaining to COVID protocol will be adhered to and all participants will have their own rooms.

SATURDAY OCTOBER 16

9:00 – 10:30 am              Expressive Art with Julie Webb

11:00 am – 12:00 pm      Breathwork with Jackson Lin

1:30 – 3:00 pm               EFT with Inge Winslow

3:30 - 5:00 pm               Tibetan Buddhist Meditation with Thomas Minde

7:00 – 9:00 pm              Poetry and Sound with George Lewis

 

SUNDAY OCTOBER 17

9:00 -10:30 am             Narrative with Kevin Foster

11:00 am – 12:00 pm    Wrap up and integration of modules, shared experiences and feedback on the weekend

Limited to 20 participants.

COVID COMPLIANCE: Participants must agree to comply with Ontario Public Health Guidelines and to follow the systems and protocols in place at the venue. Proof of vaccination must be provided.

 

Cancellation

Cancellation by registrants must be received by September 1 2021 for a full refund. Cancellations received between September 1 and October 1 will receive a refund less a $50 admin fee. Refunds received after October 1 and no shows will be responsible to pay the full fee.

If the event is cancelled by MDPAC or the Centre due to restrictions imposed by Ontario Public Health Guidelines, all registration fees will be refunded in full.

Registration fee includes full program fees, single room and vegetarian meals (meat based meals can be requested at an additional fee).
