Important update from the Coalition for Saving OHIP Funded Physician Delivered Psychotherapy

An important update regarding advocacy work for physician psychotherapy.

The Coalition for Saving OHIP-Funded, Physician-Delivered Psychotherapy has facilitated and guided the development of an opinion editorial (Op-Ed) regarding physician psychotherapy that was authored by Dr. Chase McMurren, Dr. Arieg Badawi and Dr. Conrad Sichler (Dr. Walter Owsianik was also involved in the collaboration regarding the Op-Ed).

This is an important update regarding advocacy work for physician psychotherapy. 

The Coalition for Saving OHIP-Funded, Physician-Delivered Psychotherapy has facilitated and guided the development of an opinion editorial (Op-Ed) regarding physician psychotherapy that was authored by Dr. Chase McMurren, Dr. Arieg Badawi and Dr. Conrad Sichler (Dr. Walter Owsianik was also involved in the collaboration regarding the Op-Ed).

This ground-breaking Op-Ed was published yesterday (June 1, 2021) in the National Post (p.A11) and approximately 11 additional Ontario newspapers (see full list of newspapers below).
